Scott’s extensive real estate development and commercial real estate career spans over 27 years encompassing a wide variety of high level senior management positions and major projects.

G. Scott McCormack is currently serving as Vice President of Development for Spanish Peaks and Lone Moose Meadows, two major master planned mountain resort communities on the slopes at Big Sky Resort (“North America’s Largest & Least Crowded Skiing”) in Montana, just north of Yellowstone National Park. These two projects involve over 1,500 units of homesites, homes, cabins and condos ranging in price from $400,000 to $9.0 million. Previously, Scott was Vice President of Real Estate & responsible for all real estate development and department activities for Miraval Resorts, assisting this #1 rated destination health and wellness resort owned by Steve Case. Scott guided their efforts to expand their borders and create a new line of real estate development products and complementary services to bring their signature “Life in Balance” programs and life changing principles to new markets. www.miravalresorts.com

In the early ‘90s, Mr. McCormack led large development teams in the design, financing, marketing and construction of mixed-use high rise resort and commercial projects for Pacific Rim Partnerships, including Nauru Tower, a 44-story, 304-unit luxury condo tower and Harbor Court, a 500,000 sq. ft. mixed-use project on one of Honolulu’s prime CBD sites.

Scott also held a high-level position with an active Pacific Rim opportunity fund as Vice President of Acquisitions & Asset Management for Trinity Investment Trust LLC, responsible for acquisitions, dispositions and asset management of commercial assets. He worked on a portfolio of assets with values in excess of $500 million; and collaborated closely with investor partners including Apollo Real Estate Advisors, LP and Goldman Sach’s Whitehall Fund.

In other pursuits, Scott also has an extensive career in the commercial real estate industry, where he served as President of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of CB Richard Ellis Hawaii. And prior was involved with extensive small to medium commercial real estate office and retail renovation and repositioning with a small real estate development company Gerell/ Smith & Associates. www.cbre.com

Scott is active in the Urban Land Institute (“ULI”), where he has served as Membership Committee Chair in the ULI-Arizona District Council and was the founding Chairman of the ULI-Hawaii District Council. Scott received a Business degree in Finance from the University of Santa Clara and holds active real estate licenses in Hawaii, Arizona and Idaho.
